How these tools work, and where they fall short
Every calculator here runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is sent to us or stored on our servers, which also means we can't recover your inputs if you close the tab before finishing. Here's what each one is actually doing under the hood:
- Readiness Calculator scores your answers against the same four-stage framework used throughout this site (Foundation → Vendor Credit → Revolving Credit → Capital Deployment) and tells you which stage you've completed. It can't see your actual credit file — it's only as accurate as the honesty of your answers, and it doesn't replace pulling your real D&B or Experian Business report.
- Utilization Calculator divides your total reported balances by your total reported limits across the cards and trade lines you enter. The math is simple arithmetic; the limitation is that it only knows what you tell it — if you leave out a card, your real utilization is higher than what it shows you.
- FBA Inventory Funding Calculator estimates your cash-flow gap as (inventory cost + Amazon fees) minus (expected 0% APR runway), based on your sell-through assumption. It does not account for returns, storage fee increases, or a slower-than-expected sell-through rate — build in a buffer rather than funding to the exact number it gives you.
- Capital Stack Planner ranks funding layers (vendor credit, cards, external financing) by typical cost and speed for the stage you select. It's a sequencing guide based on common patterns, not a guaranteed approval path — your actual options depend on your credit file, revenue, and what lenders are offering when you apply.
- New LLC Launch Checklist and Net-30 Readiness Checklist are straightforward checklists, not calculators — they track what you've completed and save your progress locally in your browser.
